TET Exam Syllabus 2020
According to the guideline of NCTE, all the State TET exam and Central TET followed the same structure and content pattern mentioned in the guideline. Therefore, candidates must read the guideline carefully.
As a matter of fact, the structure and content of the TET exam are explained below. For instance, all questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each question will carry one mark having four choices out of which one answer will be correct. Above all, there will be no negative marking for wrong answer selection.
First of all, there will be two papers in the TET 2020 examination. Firstly, the Paper I exam is conducted for the recruitment of lower primary teachers (classes I to V). Secondly, the Paper-II exam is conducted for the recruitment of upper primary teachers (classes VI to VIII). In conclusion, if a candidate wanted to be a teacher for classes I to V or for classes VI to VIII then he/she has to appear in both papers (Paper I and Paper II).
TET Exam Syllabus For Paper-I
The questions in the test for Paper I will be based on the topics prescribed in the syllabus of the NCERT for classes I – V. However, the difficulty standard, as well as linkages, could be up to the Secondary level i.e. Standard 10th.

TET Exam Syllabus Paper-II
First of all, the questions in the test Paper-II will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus of the State for Classes VI-VIII. However, the difficulty level, as well as linkages, will be up to the 10+2 (Higher Secondary ) level.
