Arunachal Pradesh TET 2020 (Useful Official Information)

The Teacher Eligibility Test(TET) is conducted in the Arunachal Pradesh State of India. Hence, it is known as the Arunachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET or Arunachal TET). As a matter of fact, the RTE Act 2009 directs the Arunachal State to ensure the quality requirement for the recruitment of teachers from lower primary to upper primary level.

If any person in Arunachal Pradesh recruited as a teacher in a government school must go through the Arunachal Pradesh TET examination successfully. Therefore, APTET 2020 will helps to check the ability to meet the challenges of teaching at all levels of schooling.

In addition, the main objective of the Directorate Of Elementary Education is to conduct APTET to assess the quality of teacher candidates for Lower Primar (Class I to Class V) teacher and Upper primary (VI to Class VIII) teacher.

Arunachal Pradesh TET 2020 Notification

The Government of Arunachal Pradesh has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Arunachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) to the Director, Elementary Education, Itanagar, which shall be conducted annually.

The Director of Elementary Education of Arunachal Pradesh is known as DEEAP. In General, the APTET 2020 Notification will release by the DEEAP. Type of APTET Exam 2020

The Director of Elementary Education of Arunachal Pradesh (DEEAP) conducted Arunachal TET which is categorized into two types of paper. Therefore,  each written exam is held for a different level of primary teacher recruitment in the Arunachal state.

  • Paper 1 Exam: Primary Stage Teacher i.e. Class I-V
  • Paper 2 Exam: Upper Primary Teacher i.e.Class VI-VIII

Before you apply for the Arunachal TET you must read the APTET Notification 2020 very carefully. The details TET exam eligibility is given there along with the guideline of application form submission online. Incomplete Application Forms or lack of receipt of Online documents will be summarily rejected.

Arunachal Pradesh TET Eligibility 2020:

Candidate must possess among following minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I to V (Primary Section) and teacher for Classes VI to VIII (Upper Primary Section):

Paper 1 Minimum Qualification

Maximum Age: 28 years as on 01/12/2020 (age relaxation to APST candidates as per norms) Educational Qualification

Reservation: Relaxation up to 5% in qualifying marks for the candidates of reserved category as per State Govt. norms.

Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/B. El. Ed/D.Ed.Dl.Ed.

Paper 2 Minimum Qualification

Maximum Age: 33 years as on 01/12/2020 (age relaxation to APST candidates as per norms)

Reservation: Relaxation up to 5% in qualifying marks for the candidates of reserved category as per State Govt. norms.

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El.Ed.)/B.A/B.Sc. Ed or B.A Ed./B.Sc. Ed.

Important Notice
Qualifying the APTET 2020 would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/ employment as it
is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.As per NCTE Notification ‘Graduation and one/two years Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)’ are also eligible for
applying Paper-I (Primary Level) criteria/requirements for applying TET has been considered.It is also noted that if a candidate has been allowed to appear in Arunachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2020, it does not imply that the candidate’s eligibility has been verified.It does not vest any right with the candidate for appointment, The eligibility shall be finally verified by the concerned recruiting appointing authority.Furnishing of false, wrong or inaccurate information may lead to cancellation of the test result, forfeiture of the certificate, and even prosecution. Only NCTE recognized B.Ed / D.El.Ed certificate will be considered.‘Appearing Candidates’ means the students of the final semester of qualifying exam only are eligible for Arunachal Pradesh TET 2020.

Arunachal Pradesh TET Syllabus 2020

The details  Syllabus (for Paper 1, Paper 2) are designed by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board. Languages offered for Language I – English. Language II – Hindi.

  • The language I: Shall focus on the proficiencies related to the medium of instructions.
  • Language II: Shall focus on the elements of language, communication, and comprehensive abilities.
  • Questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct.
  • Each paper will be of two and a half hour duration and a total of 150  questions will be asked. Each question will be of one mark. There will be no negative marking on the wrong answers.
  • There will be two papers of the Test. Candidates qualifying the first paper will be eligible for teaching in classes one to five. In the same way, candidates qualifying the second paper will be eligible to teach in classes 6 to 8.

Note: Language II has to be different from language I. The candidate opting the same language for the language I & language II shall not be eligible and the application will be rejected & fees will be forfeited without any further communication

Arunachal Pradesh TET Admit Card 2020

Whenever the Arunachal Pradesh TET Admit Card is available, the candidates may download their Arunachal Pradesh TET Admit Card using Registration Number from the department website. Check the admit card very carefully, if you found any incorrect information then you must contact with the DEEAP helpline number.

The candidate must show, on-demand, the Admit Card for admission in the examination room/hall. A candidate who does not possess the valid Admit Card issued by the Directorate shall not be permitted for the examination under any circumstances by the Centre Superintendent.

Arunachal Pradesh TET Answer Key 2020

In general, the Arunachal Pradesh TET Answer key for Paper 1 and Paper 2 is published online. No request for re-checking, re-assessment, re-evaluation, or scrutiny of OMR Answer Sheets will be entertained.

Arunachal Pradesh TET Result 2020

The Arunachal Pradesh TET Result is very important to qualify for the appointment of teachers in Arunachal Pradesh state. According to the Arunachal Pradesh TET 2020 notification, “if you scored minimum 60% marks, then you will be treated as “Qualified” else you can re-attempt the TET exam until you qualify the Arunachal TET successfully.

However, the Arunachal Pradesh government will issue a certificate to only qualified candidates. This certificate is valid for seven years. Hence, you may apply for teaching jobs for the next seven years without re-appearing in the APTET exam.
